  • Additional pillows or pillowcases if needed
  • Blankets or bedspreads (if you use them)

2. Remove the old bedding:

  • Start by removing the pillows and shams from the bed.
  • Strip the bed of the old sheets, including the fitted sheet, flat sheet, and any other covers you may use.

3. Shake out or launder the bedding (if needed):

  • If your blankets, bedspreads, or duvet/comforter covers are used frequently, consider shaking them out outside or laundering them according to their care instructions.

4. Launder the sheets and pillowcases:

5. Make the bed:

  • Start with the fitted sheet. Ensure that the elastic corners fit snugly around the mattress corners.
